Penelope Cruz says she’s still in touch with all of her Nine castmates.
The actress confessed to having a ball filming with the likes of Nicole Kidman, Kate Hudson and Marion Cotillard when she spoke to E! live on the red carpet at this years SAG Awards.
She said she’d kept in touch with “all of them”, adding: “We spent a lot of months together. We trained for three months, then we shot for four months, so it was a very bonding experience,” she explained.

The Spanish beauty had just returned from a trip abroad shortly before the star-studded awards ceremony last Sunday and begged her make-up artist Scott Barnes – who recently released beauty book About Face – to help recreate her holiday glow.

Showing up for what’s sure to be a fun-filled evening, Penelope Cruz was spotted arriving at the 16th annual Screen Actors Guild Awards on Saturday (January 23).
Always looking her best, the “Nine” beauty gracefully sauntered the red carpet before heading inside for the show.
Ms Cruz who plays Carla in the musical “Nine” was nominated this year for the Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role Award.
She has some stiff competition however; Anna Kendrick, Vera Farmiga, Diane Kruger and Mo’Nique were all nominated for that award as well.

“They had the talent and the magic and that beauty,” says Cruz, who has a double feature – Pedro Almodovar’s “Broken Embraces” and the glitzy musical “Nine” – opening on Christmas Day. “They were like Martians, the two of them, they were like from another world.”

Spanish beauty Penelope Cruz has admitted she infuriates her co-stars while filming, as she always insists on retakes.
Cruz has said she becomes so insistent on perfecting her takes, she has to be forced to stop after her co-stars get annoyed, reports celebrifi.com.
“I always get thrown out of the set, because asking for too many takes. I have a problem with that. I cannot let go. I cannot say ‘Ok, now we can stop and move to the next thing…’. The Spanish actress is so impressed by Kapur that she is ready to produce a film if the Indian is willing to direct it.
Kapur said, “It is true that Penelope is ready to produce a movie and wants me to direct it. We have had meetings about it and she is very excited to start this film as soon as possible. It will obviously have her in the lead.
